Public engagement is a powerful tool for a scholar, yet few scholars are trained to effectively communicate research to anyone outside the academy.
We’re here to help you Unleash Your Public Voice.

How Do we Do it?
The process can take anywhere from one month to a year, depending on your goal. You set the timeline, I hold you accountable.
1.
STEP ONE
First step is to get to know you, your research, and your goals, while also working on mind set, goal setting, and integrating public scholarship into your research workflow.
2.
STEP TWO
We will establish an attainable goal/outcome to work towards in our sessions. Using the SMART Goals method, you will outline a goal/outcome that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable. Relevant, and Time Bound to ensure you have a publishable product.
3.
STEP THREE
Simultaneously while working toward your goal, we will address your public scholar profile. I will assess your online and digital public profile and strategize personalized growth and engagement approaches. This is the foundation needed to establish your expertise in the public sphere.
4.
STEP FOUR
We will work through foundational media training and exercises that will focus on who your audience is, where they are, and how to communicate your research effectively so it reaches them. This training includes strategic communication, public writing, pitching, and measuring impact.
