The mission of (Cintron, Revised) is to empower today’s scholars on their journey to create a lasting impact on the world through their research.
We are committed to advancing the public understanding of research and creating a positive impact on society through effective and responsible research communication.
Our vision is to create a world where research is openly accessible. We aim to build trust with the public, break down barriers between academia and society, and promote knowledge for all. We aim to foster a more engaged, informed, and curious society.
We value learning from both our community and each other. We foster a collaborative and supportive community of scholars committed to impacting the world. We approach public engagement with respect and a dedication to understanding diverse perspectives from our community partners and audiences.
Making a broader impact with our research requires persistence, grit, and determination. We emphasize the skills necessary to persevere in the face of challenges, to grow and learn from setbacks, and ultimately to succeed in our mission to make a positive impact on society.
Knowledge for all
We believe that knowledge should be open, accessible, and impactful. We rigorously pursue these values in all aspects of our work as knowledge creators, taking responsibility to make our research accessible to all, ensuring that all have the opportunity to learn and make a difference in the world.
In a world of misinformation and disinformation, we prioritize honest, responsible, and ethical research communication practices that foster two-way communication and build trust with the public. By embracing empathy and understanding, we seek to create an environment where scholars and the public can learn from each other and relate to one another.
Beyond jargon-free communication.
We embrace various communication styles to effectively convey our message to diverse audiences. We appreciate the beauty of all forms of communication and prioritize dialogue that empowers our audience with information which helps them make informed decisions. We meet our audience where they are, without compromising rigor.
But I also have witnessed impactful research lie in the cobwebs of peer-reviewed journals, dense books, and within the confines of academic conferences.
I personally know many brilliant scholars creating amazing work but lack the skills, knowledge, and wherewithal to help it see the light of day – to get into the hands of communities who can benefit the most.
And that is why I created (Cintron, Revised), a research public communications company dedicated to helping inspiring scholars impact communities through their research.
My goal is to support your journey to become a publicly engaged scholar.
